The future is today, thanks to recent monumental strides in the science of robotics and automation. While robotics had previously been only usable in the imagination of science fiction, offering very few practical applications, this is no longer the case. Recent innovations in robotic movement, computer design and technology have propelled robotics to completely revolutionize manufacturing in the 21st century.
The articulated robot, for example, can perform a variety of tasks in a relatively confined space, reducing the amount of area needed on an assembly line incrementally. The robots can range from simple two-jointed structures to arms that feature as many as 10 joints, depending on the confines and specifications of the job required. This allows for a high degree of freedom.
Plus, the relatively simple programming features of an articulated robot make it even more versatile to the job. This enables in-house computer programmers to easily reconfigure the robot for a number of specialized tasks, and can be conveniently adapted to fit new jobs.
Any job that includes a repetitive task is best performed by robotics. Human minds are too creative and intelligent to handle the repetitive jobs that can be performed by machines more consistently. The monotony of these tasks only invites human error, which is only natural when asked to perform such mundane jobs repetitively. When you are dealing with a production line that requires absolute uniformity and perfection, however, you just don’t have room for human error. Giving the repetitive job to a robot ensures that the job is done correctly each and every time, even when it needs to be performed a million times.
Robotics not only speed up an assembly line and make the most efficient use of work space possible, they also guarantee a level of quality and precision that just isn’t possible with traditional labor. In fact, given recent developments in the field of machine vision, robots can even be used to perform quality inspections on their own work. Quality control can be done at an automated level, so that even work inspection is not left to the fickleness of human error.
The science of robotics has reached maturity, making their application at every level of the assembly process not only feasible, but the only way to maximize profit while guaranteeing a quality production. Thanks to modern automation, manufacturing will never be the same again.

At a town counsel meeting recently in Hampshire, town officials discussed whether it would be prudent to lease out public space to an outside advertising company to help offset budget shortfalls. The discussion is indicative of a trend by municipalities to capitalize on the abundance of available vehicle space and real estate they have in order to prevent further tax increases on property.
With the recent decline in online advertising rates and increase in popularity of SEO strategies, businesses are looking for new methods of Hampshire advertising because the online arena has become so overcrowded. While no one is talking about selling branding on local police cars – yet – adding small advertisements to the sides of garbage trucks, mailboxes, and adding billboards to municipal buildings promises not only to drive traffic to area businesses from major highways but also to draw foot traffic to those businesses that choose to opt-in to the relatively inexpensive program.
Critics charge that there is nothing to stop Hampshire and other municipalities from selling advertising on police cars, schools, etc – the proverbial can of worms. Yet proponents of the plan counter that it is an easy way for the town to raise much-needed revenue without having to raise taxes on the businesses and residents that form the basis for the town’s commerce.
The biggest takeaway from this scenario is that outdoor advertising sponsored by municipalities offers a good way from businesses to get into Hampshire advertising at a fraction of the price. In so doing, they are investing in their own community and will surely draw traffic from nearby highways that will bring prosperity to the whole town: a boomtown oasis in a desert of recession.

If you’re a small to mid-sized firm launching a new product, one of the easiest ways to ensure sales success is to get an outsource sales and marketing firm. Following are three distinct gains
An adjustable Sales Force: To enlarge sales with a new product launch, a adjustable sales force is ideal. This is because it allows you room to let the product “pay for itself,” before allotting in fixed costs.
If product orders start to pour in, you simply ask your outsource sales and marketing firm to allocate more salespersons. If sales are stagnant to begin with, then you can even ramp down.
A committed Sales Force: An outsource sales and marketing firm will pull together a committed team of professional salespersons to assist you with your product launch. Hence, right from the outset, you give yourself the best option to not only jump start sales, but increase sales as your product is introduced to more and more potential buyers.
A abrupter Sales Cycle: The abrupter the sales cycle, the likelier chance you have of increasing sales on a continual basis. When you outsource your sales functions, the company you’re working with is invested in the welfare of your product.
And, because they may not be moored down in internal company policies and obligations, they are free to look solely on their one objective — bring you sales. Hence, their sales cycle is usually shorter than an in-house sales team, for example.
Higher Close Ratio: Because of a shorter sales cycle, you can expect a higher close ratio when you hire an outsource sales and marketing company. A higher close ratio means an increase in sales.
If you’re bringing a new item to market, and/or want to increase sales on an existing item line, outsource your sales and marketing functions. You won’t regret it.

What is are MIG welders?
When most imagine welding, they think of the combination of two pieces of metal together, and that’s about it. However, welding is a huge profession with many different aspects of welding – and welder – niches. One of those is MIG welding, which is completed by a MIG welder.
MIG Welding Explanation
MIG is the short form for Metal Inert Gas. It is a procedure whereby a MIG welder uses a tungsten electrical conductor to produce the weld. This type of welding is also referred to as Gas Metal Arc Welding, or MTAW. Don’t be thrown if you hear this expression. It’s still MIG welding.
The Job of a MIG Welder Explained
The MIG welding process is quite interesting, requiring a accomplished MIG welder to properly complete it. As stated above, MIG welding uses a tungsten electrical conductor to produce the link.
MIG welding is a form of arc welding. It is so because the heat produced in MIG welding comes from an electric “arc” that is maintained between the tungsten electrode and the piece that is being welded.
A MIG welder is a highly sought after expert because the process can be hazardous. For example, a MIG welder must know how to influence the heat input when welding so as not to create a slag or splatter. This can be done by foot or hand amperage controls.
Another key factor that makes MIG welding so hazardous is that there is a steady power current in MIG welding. This is one of the reasons it requires a extremely-clean surface for working.
For all of these reasons and quite a few more, a MIG welder must be thorough and organized in how he mans his workplace.
The Birth of the MIG Welder
MIG welding became fashionable during World War II, when aircraft and other war equipment was being churned out en masse. Primarily driven by the aircraft industry during this time, because of the competence of it, it quickly expanded to other industries – eg, construction.

Today’s market takes an expert
To those who don’t study it every day, the market can be hard to understand.
Stocks that were all but guaranteed to go up a few years ago are struggling to stay afloat today. Savings are being lost, pensions downsized, and inflation is at an all time high. It’s hard to find good news anywhere on Wall Street these days.
Many of us can now remember the lessons of America’s Greatest Generation. Learning to be limited in the wake of the Great Depression, America tightened its belt and lived through the hard times, eventually recovering and enjoying a prosperous financial economy unprecedented in history. But we forget that that economy was built on the industries that emerged out of necessity of hard times. We forget that while some recession is inevitable, growth emerges from those same downturns.
Believe it or not, there are winners in this economy. What goes up must come down, and what is lost by one investor is later earned by another. Market fluctuations shift, but there are rises to polarize the falls, creating a necessary balance in spite of residual chaos.
Successfully managing cash during a difficult economic market will ultimately give you the lead over your competitors. Managing cash means not only protecting investments but also taking advantage of chances for growth that emerge as markets fluctuate. That means engaging a versatile portfolio that is spread out among a wide number of markets and divisions to prevent collapse.
Managed futures provide you the versatility to adjust to the changing market. They present a key benefit in that they are low-risk but at the same time can grow the robustness of a portfolio, despite market slag. By investing in a wide range of options such as currencies, energies, metals, short and long term interest rates, you are actually hedging your bets and providing insurance to your bankroll.
What is confusing about the market is the rate at which it changes. That’s why it’s imperative to find an expert commodity broker aware of today’s trends, not just yesterday’s trends or what worked in another time.
Look for a community of financial experts to customize your investment portfolio, investing your bankroll in a variety of markets that are optimized for the changing times. Remember you not only want to protect your bankroll, but you want to give it room to grow. Let a commodity broker help you invest for the future today.

Cosmetic dentistry can boost confidence, business and self esteem.
Consider this: Your smile, or lack thereof, is one of the first things that many notice about you.
If your smile is gorgeous, people will ascribe many positive traits to you — ie, friendly, outgoing, smart, beautiful – and the list goes on. Smart, attractive people make money more, have more friends and are in general more successful than those who don’t possess these traits.
Following are four ways cosmetic dentistry can give you that gorgeous smile, and perhaps get you on the golden road to riches.
3 Common Cosmetic Dentistry Procedures that Improve Your Smile Tremendously
Teeth Whitening: Teeth whitening and bleaching have been around for a while. Since it was first introduced, it has become a favorite cosmetic dentistry procedure for movie stars and common, everyday folk alike.
Practically everything you put in your mouth on a daily basis impacts the color of your teeth. Coffee, wine, tea, smoking, soft drinks and yes, even age, all dull the luster of your smile’s whiteness.
Professional laser teeth whitening and bleaching is perhaps the most common cosmetic dentistry procedure because we all eat, drink and age. This procedure is painless, affordable and can be completed quickly. The result in your smile will speak for itself.
Replacing Fillings: Many who have fillings have silver or even gold fillings, for they weren’t always white. Years ago, dentists used meta-based products for fillings, which accounts for the color.
And, when you smile, these can be readily evident, taking away from what a perfectly beautiful smile should be. Cosmetic dentistry can fix this. By simply replacing your old, metallic fillings with newer ones that are tooth-colored, no one will ever know you have fillings!
Veneers: Veneers are a cosmetic dentistry procedure that can fix such unattractive problems as chipped teeth, or gaps between teeth. They look as natural as your teeth, and last for years.
Veneers can subtract years from your smile, making you appear more youthful. Your friends may not immediately know what you did, but they’ll know that you did something because, “You look great!”
And, with cosmetic dentistry, you don’t have to go “under the knife” or spend thousands to accomplish it.

California Electric Companies Look for New Green Suppliers
Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E) is a major supplier of electricity to California and its metropolitan regions. It has recently been involved with a commitment to purchase a portion of its electric requirements from the newest green power supply companies who have begun to produce testing grounds from which they will grow from. Just like when the microchip was king, California is poised to take a leadership role in the development and production of green energy resources by utilizing companies that are eagerly looking to attract their business.
One of these new California electric companies is Ausra Inc. The newest supplier of electricity using solar generation is planned to open a 177-MW facility in 2010, and it is using it’s 5-MW test facility as proof of the ability to take its technology on a larger scale. As California looks to decrease its carbon footprint because of the threat of power shortages, it will lead the way into the future benefits which will be realized using green sources of energy and proper maintenance of current infrastructure components.
Not only taking the lead, California is showing how these methods can reduce over-all costs on an economy. They plan on proving to the rest of the United States that it is possible to go green and save money too. The creation of green power costs less than making power the old fashioned way. When California electric companies take on the investment of research and development for future growth potentials, these new California Electric Companies will maintain the future benefits of bringing the newest technologies to the public first.

Water is a precious resource. It is a scarce commodity in many parts of the world, and with the ever-growing climate change, the outlook for it is none too good. Hence, we need to conserve what we have. As a California resident, you play a role in the California plumbing system.
Every time you flush a toilet, wash your hands or get in the shower, you’re impacting the California plumbing systems. Following are some green advantages of water tanks that can lessen our impact on the California plumbing system, while helping to conserve the world’s water supply.
California Plumbing: Why Water Tanks Are a Smart “Green” Buy
You Become a Conservator of the Earth’s Resources: Many compare owning a water tank to becoming a conservator, for you conserve so much of the earth’s natural resources when you invest in one.
This is particularly true when you live in large populated cities like New York and Los Angeles. Just minimizing the effect by 1%, for example, the California plumbing system can save hundreds of thousands of gallons of water.
Most of us don’t even think about how precious few reserves the world has in the way of fresh water. We literally flush away millions of gallons of this precious resource every day – quite obliviously.
Imagine if all of us worked to conserve just a little more. The results could be quite phenomenal.
Water Tanks Save You Money for Years: According to most California plumbing professionals, most water tanks will last for 10 years or more. Just think of the savings you will have incur over those years, not to mention the good you will have done the environment during this time.
Can’t quite fathom how much? Stop for a minute and think about how many times you put your California plumbing system to work each day. Washing hands, flushing toilets, brushing your teeth, rinsing out your cereal bowl, etc.
You use water on a continual basis without even thinking about it. A water tank is the perfect way to put less stress on your California plumbing system and conserve a precious environmental resource.
